Background of Diane Heald

As an experienced technical writer, Diane Heald established Heald Consulting in Orlando in 1996.

Diane has created online help and written software documentation for 20 years. She has reviewed and edited proposals, highly technical documents including contract proposals for high tech companies, IT white papers, and technical specifications.  

 

A local software company has been a client of Heald Consulting for 15 years. For them, Diane writes, creates, develops and updates the online help system for a revenue management software application. There are over 1400 pages of documentation.

 

Prior to establishing Heald Consulting, Diane was employed at AT&T, Lockheed Martin, and CIBER.   At Lockheed Martin, she documented manufacturing applications.

 

At  AT&T she developed online help systems for telecommunications software and wrote system guides for network products.   She wrote operations support plans, product support plans, user manuals, and online help programs for telecommunications products and services. She wrote Corporate Network Management Center/Service Delivery Agreement, Work Management Information System User Guide, TCP/IP Provisioning Methods and Procedures, and Integrated Service Center Plan. Also at AT&T, Diane was a programmer/analyst for asset and inventory control systems which included writing, testing, and implementing software programs.

 

Diane has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Indiana State University.
