Background Diane has created online help and written software documentation for 20 years. She has reviewed and edited many highly technical documents including contract proposals for high tech companies, IT white papers, and technical specifications for power generation equipment. Diane has reviewed and edited SBIR/STTR grant proposals as well as other types of proposals. She started her career as a grant writer. A local software company has been a client of Heald Consulting for 13 years. For them, Diane writes and updates over 1400 pages of documentation for a revenue management software application. She also develops and updates the online help system for the same application. Prior to establishing Heald Consulting, Diane was employed at AT&T, Lockheed Martin, and CIBER. At Lockheed Martin, she documented manufacturing applications. At AT&T she developed online help systems for telecommunications software and wrote system guides for network products. She wrote operations support plans, product support plans, user manuals, and online help programs for telecommunications products and services. She wrote Corporate Network Management Center/Service Delivery Agreement, Work Management Information System User Guide, TCP/IP Provisioning Methods and Procedures, and Integrated Service Center Plan. Also at AT&T, Diane was a programmer/analyst for asset and inventory control systems which included writing, testing, and implementing programs. Diane has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Indiana State University. |
